About Us
The Club was born over a coffee by two working parents, Odette and Hannah, struggling to resolve their own challenges with childcare alongside their career commitments after 3.30pm. Meetings were held to pitch demand with the Head Teacher at the time and Governing body that this was a necessary and much needed service. They agreed to a trial based on a combined skillset between us, and, as a result, The Club @ Akiva opened in January 2014 to nine children.
With a small but solid start, bookings gathered traction and we reached capacity within two terms. We currently remain fully booked with a significant waiting list once Ofsted registration determined maximum capacity (based on venue measurements).
News travelled fast within the community and we were then approached by Wolfson Hillel to become their sole provider. Hillel had experienced a sudden shut down by the previous provider and needed emergency setup. We stepped in and opened and The Club @ Hillel remained open for key worker families during lockdown.
Etz Chaim then approached us, and we established our third setting with The Club @ Etz Chaim for Breakfast and Afterschool for this one form entry, local community school.
Finally, The Club @ Rimon opened to provide afterschool care for their growing school.
We offer Ofsted registered settings with a fluid play, screen free environment, providing safe and warm care for busy families.
