We are open for breakfast from 8am and for afterschool until 6pm sharp. We operate Monday to Thursday during term time, and we are open if the school is open at its usual time. If for any reason the school is closed we will not be open.

We do not have a breakfast session on the first day of the academic year or when school is opening late for any reason.

We do not have an afterschool session when the school closes early for any reason.

You will not be charged for any sessions where we are not open and our sessions are always on the pricing document for each term.

You can drop your child to breakfast from 8am to 8:45am as school opens from 8:45am.

Please collect your child by 6pm sharp at any time that works for your family. We suggest not collecting from us until 4pm to allow the site to clear a little from school pick up.

We charge a late collection penalty for children collected after 6pm. If we find late collection to be regular, we will need to assess whether The Club is the right fit for your family.

Contact us on clubetzchaim@yahoo.com to join our waiting list once you have received your child’s place at the school or if your child already attends on the school's roll. We will then explain our waiting list protocol to you. Current families are contacted to make their bookings for the next academic term around each half term before. These e-mails contain all our booking and payment deadlines.

We only accept ad hoc bookings from children already on our registers. As we are full on all sessions, we can only accept ad hoc bookings if we know we will have a space on the session you wish to book in the event of last-minute absence (which is unlikely!).

As of the 2025/6 Academic year, Breakfast price is £6.00 per child per session. Afterschool is £17.50 per child per session. There is a 10% discount for second and subsequent children attending Afterschool sessions with their eldest sibling. Termly prices are calculated and communicated each term and sent out when families are invited to make their bookings.

Due to our Ofsted registration, we are happy to accept bank transfer, all childcare vouchers and payments from HMRC’s Tax Free Childcare scheme. Autumn Term payments are due by the end of the Summer Term, and Spring Term and Summer Term payments are due one calendar month before the start of the term. Bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable once the payment deadline has passed.

Bookings are made for a full term and are payable ahead of that term. If you know you do not wish to rebook for the next term, the earlier you let us know the better.

You can join our waiting list as soon as you have applied for your child’s place at the school. Booking e mails are sent each half term to current families. If we have spaces to offer you, we let you know as soon as possible and usually ask for a response within 48 hours of the offer to keep the process as quick as possible for families waiting.

We offer healthy breakfast cereals with milk in the mornings. Fresh fruit is available each afternoon which can be complemented by healthy, NUT AND SESAME FREE, vegetarian and / or dairy snacks sent in from home. We do not allow chocolate or sweets at The Club.

We aim for as much outdoor play as possible. Children will have access to footballs, skipping ropes, hula hoops, tennis balls, badminton sets and playground chalk alongside their own imaginations. Indoors we have arts and crafts, books, board and card games, Lego, table football, and age-appropriate toys. The Club is a screen free environment.

We have many children join us from activity clubs. We cannot release staff to collect your child, but your activity provider can drop them to us at the end of the activity. We ask families to let us know at the beginning of each term to inform us of the details of your child’s other activity clubs, so we know when to expect them to arrive with us. We will always chase an absence if a child has not arrived to us as expected.

No. The Club is only for children attending the school it is in.

We operate at 1:10 ratio so will always have at least 2 Team Members on duty at Breakfast and 2 for an Afterschool session. Our main Team is required to have an enhanced DBS check, and are made up of experienced childcare professionals and adults with parenthood responsibilities. We also have an enthusiastic team of DBS checked Sixth Form and University Students working with us. At least one Team Member on site will be First Aid trained, and we ensure that all our Team Members have appropriate Safeguarding Training and knowledge, together with an understanding of Ofsted expectations relating to health and safety.
