Location

Akiva School, The Sternberg Centre for Judaism, 80 E End Rd, London N3 2SY

The Club @ Akiva is located in the Moadon which is the purpose built building in between the scooter park opposite the main Akiva School Building.

We use the playground directly outside the Moadon for outdoor play  throughout the year  (aside from High Holy days winter season when the school hosts a marquee for chagim) between the hours of 4-5pm (sometimes longer in the summer months).

Breakfast Club

Breakfast opens at 8am sharp using the buzzer entry system. children arrive, wash hands, and settle to seated activities and healthy cereals.

Arts, crafts, board games and calm activities set the children up for a successful day at school.

Club staff escort Key Stage 1 children (Reception - Year 2) down to their classrooms and watch them enter inside. Key Stage 2 children (Year 3 and above) are dismissed from club and make their own way to their interior access classrooms.

After-School Club

Reception and KS1 children are brought to The Club by staff; KS2 children walk over themselves. Teachers have an up-to-date list of attendees each term.

Children join after school or from other activities, enjoy a snack and chat, then take part in outdoor play, crafts, games, and social time - all supervised by our caring team.

We're open until 6pm sharp, with pick-up times to suit your schedule.

We provide fresh fruit and water, and children may bring additional healthy snacks from home (in line with our snack policy).

What Parents Say

Our two children absolutely love after-school club and are often reluctant to leave because they’re having so much fun!

The team strikes a great balance between being friendly and authoritative, creating a safe, welcoming space that feels nothing like school—just fun, creativity, and adventure. They come home with crafts, new games, and stories, and we couldn’t be happier with the care, experiences, and open communication.
